Character

This is an original character from an original universe. It has been modified slightly to fit in better with the community

a_narrow_place. This character has no memory of his previous life, very little willpower, and, because he lacks the ability to name himself, no name.

Race

Wishlings are a race of creatures with the ability to see and manipulate the many threads of fate. Because they lack any willpower they will do anything anyone asks and can use their abilities to grant wishes. Because they grant wishes by moving fate there is some give and take with every wish and often the wishes don't turn out as expected. Wishlings will grant as many wishes as they are asked, but wishing comes at a price. Making a wish weakens a persons willpower until eventually, like the wishling, they have no will of their own. When this happens a wishling will steal that persons life from them. When the transition occurs neither of them will have any memory of their lives prior to the change, but they will instinctively avoid one another from then on.
